You can make a career selling information. Infopreneuring, or info-marketing, is a business trend that’s taking the world by storm. Infopreneur is a new term that has recently developed on the internet to describe a person who sells information.
It is a person whose primary business is gathering, selling, processing, and providing electronic information to advertising, marketing, and other firms. The term is derived from the words “Information” and “Entrepreneur.
Information marketing is an excellent online marketing strategy that can position you as an expert in your field. It helps you build credibility, generate revenue, and create a global community of clients and customers that you can market to repeatedly.
These business savvy marketers collect information from several sources, and combines it into novel ways to serve the readers needs. Infopreneurs today have a wide variety of products available for their followers.
Information products are offered in a variety of formats including books, e-books, special reports, audio formats, videos, workbooks, booklets, and virtually any method in which you can deliver information.
Infopreneurs wade through the myriad of information available on the internet weeding out erroneous or outdated information and consolidating and presenting current accurate information in easily accessible and understandable forms.
They are content-driven, marketing-savvy entrepreneurs that rely on newer methods of marketing, such as online marketing. They collect or sell information that solves the problems of others. Infopreneurship makes you a unique expert at something.
These online services provide people the ease of accessing certain information and the flexibility to do things faster that might not be possible otherwise.
Marketing is one of the only activities in business that makes you money. It must always serve the needs of both businesses and individuals.
Marketing is about creating value to satisfy the needs of your market through products or services. With marketing you can build a business around being THE expert information-provider (Infopreneur ) for your particular niche.
Site Build It (SBI) has developed a systematic method of leading you through the keyword research (brainstorm It) to help you focus in on your best keywords. Site Build It takes care of all the mundane details of managing and promoting a website so you can concentrate on what you want to do and that is to publish information and be a great infopreneur!

I’m interested in a insurance career selling long term care, life insurance and so on, please advise?
I know once you are licensed there are many companies that will hire you and promise you the world and I do realize achievements are largely self made. Can anyone recommend how I can prepare myself, what are the best companies in terms of providing support and compensation or any information that may be useful. Thanks in advance
Well at least you know the brick barrier you are up against before you jump into the water.
Many companies will want you before or after you are licensed, it matters not. If you look good, can sell a product line, know lots of people, and are personable, you have a head start.
Look to see if anyone will give you a base pay, I believe Metlife does this. Otherwise you will spend years getting off the ground. Keep in mind 95% of those going after an insurance position, will be elsewhere after a year. They don’t make it. Hence the reason insurance companies are always looking for new blood.
Listen to what you are told, but take it with a grain of salt. You will hear how everyone makes millions, goes on free trips, gets plaques, and bonuses. You won’t hear about the 95% that don’t.
If you are young, and as I said know lots of people just dyeing to buy insurance from you, go for it. If you a a loner, not involved with organizations, out of school, no neighbors, small family, look for another job, as these are your starting points.

Compensation is pretty much straight commission. If you don’t know if you can sell or not, you’re probably not going to do too well.

Check out Primerica Financial Services, which is a Citigroup company. They do all the things you mentioned and much more such as investments, auto & homeowner’s insurance, retirement plans, college plans, and debt elimination service.
At Primerica, you are an independent business agent. Its up to you on how you want to work. There’s no one looking over your shoulders to pressure you to get to work. Though, the company does want you to succeed, so there is training and moral support to help you build your business.
The only thing you need to pay is $99 for the licensing paperwork, which also includes the FBI background check on you. This will put you into life insurance school, which is required by all the states. If you fail this school, you can take it over again as many times as you want. You will attend a 20-30 minute mortgage class, which will enable you to help people get out of debt or help people get a home loan. When your business gets moving and you reach the District Leader position, the company will pay for your securities licensing fees.
More info can be found by visiting one of the local offices in your area.
