DmC Devil May Cry for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sees Capcom collaborating with UK-based Ninja Theory, the creators of Heavenly Sword and Enslaved, to explore new frontiers for the series. From its debut on PlayStation 2 in 2001, the Devil May Cry series has been synonymous with stylish action, rewarding combat and a brash, smart-talking protagonist. This ‘Devil May Cry DNA’ remains but is now injected with a dark and brutal gameplay that promises to redefine the franchise. Okiay, it’s been revealed that Ninja Theory actually planned to make DMC5 but CAPCOM were the ones that told them to “be out the box” and “different” so, while Ninja Theory isn’t in good standings with me, I’m more with Capcom. If they wanted a different game, then just make one. Just because it has the DMC name doesn’t make it instantly sell-worthy.

my friends a die hard dmc fan and he’s actually pretty excited about this game. honestly i never played the series, but i think i will NOW. its time for change, and i thought the original donte’s looked corny. if this is the real dante re-imagined then i think it looks more gritty and bad ass.

look i what fond out read Ninja Theory’s freshly revealed stint on the Devil May Cry franchise won’t necessarily mean a sequel to its new game, Enslaved, is out of the question.
Enslaved, which is out this week, is an ambitious third person adventure that’s benefitted from the input of 28 Days Later scribe Alex Garland and actor Andy Serkis. It’s been receiving strong reviews, raising hope of a sequel.

It’s cool everyone this is a reboot by ninja theory it’s not Dmc 5 officially thank god not that it’s bad the guys who made heavenly sword for PS3 made this game. Nice trailer but I want the old Dante.If not broken don’t fix it folks. So this is really Dmc 1 just re- imagined so fans don’t freak out capcom is not developing this.

ok so everyone is wondering why dante looks different well the game follows the adventure of a new version of dante it is the first in the series not to be developed internally by Capcom. Ninja theory will be working on the game as well (same people who did heavenly sword)

Huh… The only difference I see is instead of Dante looking like a bad yet douchy asian guy he now looks like a bad yet douchy white guy. I never did play dmc before but if this turns out good i may give it a try, no use crying over it though guys
