Can we brainstorm some possible ways to get Brian Dawkins back home where he belongs?

Of course the odds are stacked BUT if this man’s career has taught me anything its that strength and determination can do amazing things. If enough people in Philadelphia are as inspired as I am by Dawkins, we can work to get him back here. There is power in numbers. Any ideas anyone?

You and I can buy the Eagles from that crack head of an owner, and we can work out and deal which would see Brian Dawkins back in an Eagles uniform before training camp.
How bout:
Donovan McNabb
for:
Brian Dawkins
&
Jay Cutler (since he’s unhappy and the Broncos are looking to trade him).
But first we have to buy the team. What do you say?
as an eagle fan, i cried when i found out the broncos signed him.
i think he’ll play 1, MAYBE 2 years over there, since he will make i think 70% of the money in the first two years of that 5 year contract.
i’d love to see him back as a eagle in 2010 or 2011, even if it is only for one year.
this man is a philadelphia eagle and will always be.

No, he’s gone, and never coming back. Can’t blame him for leaving that "city" Philly. That is a disgusting place.

I can’t blame him for getting out of the most Fickle city before the fans boo him. I know you’ll say I will never boo him, but Philly fans have a reputation of the second a guy begins aging, and losing his skills here come the boobirds…I can’t blame him for going to the laid back Broncos organization.

Whether you or not you like the city itself, the team will not be the same without him. Awesome fans and awesome guys. They may not be #1, but you can’t say you won’t miss the visor!

I don’t think I’d want him back from the broncos.
he’ll probably catch their disease.
you know, the one their whole roster of runningbacks caught last year?
I don’t want that spreading to the rest of our roster.

This was so dumb. I still cannot believe he’s gone. I cried when i found out too (to agree with the first comment left on here)
He is such an inspiration to SO many people. Our team will never be the same without him. He needs to come back, but it’s doubtful. I am so mad at the eagles right now, and I’m sure they are gettin a lot of s**t right now because of their terrible choice (as they should be) Dawkins knows that his phans still love him and will support him. We all know he wanted to stay and this is 100% the eagles fault. I wish we could like hold rallies or protests or something…it wouldn’t solve anything i don’t think, but it would at least show them how pist we are and show dawkins how much we miss him.
As for the person on here that said good for him to get out before we start booing him…Brian Dawkins is a fan favorite. I would NEVER boo him and that is the honest truth. He’s one of those people where you cannot be an eagles fan and not like him, its just not possible. All the crap we put other players through (i admit we do so what? some deserve it) we love him. period.

I also cried when i found out he left and i punched a bunch of people and freaked but i think we should form an angry mob of everyone who loves dawkins and run to the eagle’s owners house kill his family and sign back WHO’S WITH ME!!!!
JK
I MISS DAWKINS, i think he will play for 1- 2 yrs then sign back with the eagles for a yr or 2 then retire as AN EAGLES
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES

Maybe if Philadelphia held a food drive for Dawkins like they did for TO, the money would not mean as much and he would be able to play football in Philadelphia out of the goodness of his heart!
