I want to thank …
I want to thank Lily for scaring me out of NEVER lighting up a cigarette. When the cig butt dropped off the ashtray, that plus her dying from the heart attack, did it in for me. I will NEVER allow anyone in my family to smoke in my house or even buy cigarettes. I don’t want them dying like Lily.
I remember that …
I remember that part and agree. If I was the kid, I would’ve been traumatized too.
a thought the …
a thought the freaky part was where the kid tapped into the terror/brainwash military brainstorm tape, that was freaky.
@spookybeast Ok, …
@spookybeast Ok, then we got scared by different things, the most disturbing thing in this movie for me was the thought of being trapped in some kind of slide show of moments of your life (even if they were good moments) for an eternity or similar.

@zaphr89
I used to see the part where the bloody people writhed in agony behind the blood-spattered glass every time I entered a dark room for weeks after I saw that film. The vision grew into nightmarish propotions, as you can imagine, way worse than the original, rather short visual we get in the film. But how powerful is that one little snippet?

I Just watched this from netflix, It was great and very different! This part was the best. He saw Heaven and Hell! It was strange! Christopher Walken rules!
This film is in …
This film is in fact, a true science fiction film, unlike so much dreck that came after it. Science fiction is fiction that shows the interaction of science and the human condition. Brainstorm is perhaps the greatest pure science fiction film ever made.
What a movie …
What a movie – Walken at his most un-Walken like…. Genius!
Jesus, this part …
Jesus, this part gave me twenty years of nightmares. Wow. I’m so relieved to see it again now and really see it’s not that bad. Wow. A sigh of relief to let go of a fear that haunted me for twenty years…

I saw this movie in …
I saw this movie in the theatre when I was ten. Parts of it were so scary I was covering my eyes and peeking through my fingers at it. I must say, it haunted me for years and shaped my personality–love of science fiction–mad science–INDELIBLY. Wow, what a movie, and Christopher Walken isn’t so bad to look at, either!

Well, you know that …
Well, you know that up until recently, he and a few other composers like Harry Gregson-Williams and ex-Culture Club guitarist Roy Hay were part of this operation called Media Ventures. They were a kind of one-stop shop for soundtracks.
There’s a reason all their soundtracks sounded alike–Zimmer was on all of them, or at least that’s what the lawsuit his ex-business partner filed alleged. He was taking all the dough and ripping the others off.
Oh yeah, it sure …
