Thank you, Neil.
Thank you, Neil.
i really think this …
i really think this guy is trying to help save the world from wars and low oxygen levels we now have.
if i buy a pinto and put a electric motor in it cost me a lot less than a goverment motors(GM) chevy volt.i think id rather be seen in a pinto anyways.neil picked out a cool car.
id like to thank these men for their time, money, and hard work.they need our support, the world needs their support.we need more men like them not little boys who want to throw sticks.
thanks guys
Yes. It’s Neil …
Yes. It’s Neil Young’s fault America’s car industry’s fucked. Absolutely nothing to do with America’s greed for the cheapest possible cars and their unwillingness to invest themselves in producing this. Does he know about cars any more than you and I? Maybe not. Should it offend you that he’s try? Definately not.
Hahaha … no …
Hahaha … no wonder that the American car industry is down, if they give credit and public attention what this Neil guy is babbling about. The man is trying something good??? Oh, please save us from people who are “Trying” something good. He only proves that he knows nothing.
I’m not gonna be …
I’m not gonna be drawn on the bitching, the man’s trying to do something good… will he succeed? Maybe, maybe not. 2 things are certainly true. 1) He’s trying which is a sight more than half the people who are have/will do. 2) ‘Americans are big’.
“smoother”?? … …
“smoother”?? … that’s defined by the suspension, bogey, transmissions … the advantage of electric motors indeed is a high degree of efficiency (which is obsolete, as the current is produced in power plants with an efficiency of ca. 35 %) and the high torque at low revs.
“Cleaner”??? Why??? Because no CO2 comes out of the pipe?? How stupid must one be to think that this car is “cleaner” then???
Hmmm… everyone is …
Hmmm… everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion I guess. Although filmed driving tests of Lincvolt have been available on the internet for some time now. There’s even a new 43 minute film of Young driving it to his latest album music on the Jama website. It’s a smoother and much cleaner running machine than today’s conventional automobiles. Yet I see an empirical argument lacking decent manners and consideration being waged here, so I’ll bow out. Good luck to you.
“on-board fuel …
“on-board fuel creation”!! What rubbish!! Is this Neil Young guy the new Dennis Lee?? Google ‘Dennis Lee scam’.
Come on, you guys …
Come on, you guys in the US don’t even know how to spell the ‘efficiency’.
How can you call it …
How can you call it inspiring when nobody saw it driving yet?? When nobody tested it?? (Well it would be too ridiculous to test this junk). And then the rubbish this country-guy Young is babbling … 100 MPG if it is driven on electricity?? It is like saying I only eat 1 burger per day, whereas at the same time I eat 2 cows, 5 steaks and 20 portions of French fries. Really well thought out! I have to admit. In my country they would feel ashamed of the stupidity of this old man.
What is smart, …
What is smart, super in this LincVolt?? I can tell you: nothing! Putting some batteries and an electric engine in it. What is new in it?? Nothing! What is well thought out? Nothing! This is no cleaner than the conventional version of it. The energy source is electricity which in the USA is produced at 85 % by fossil fuels. So what is smart in this shit?? Nothing is said about the range of this car, about the longivity of the batteries, the consumption. Nobody saw this driving on electr
Lincvolt is a smart …
Lincvolt is a smart and super concept car. Considering the history of the automobile, we’ve come a long way with well thought out concept cars blazing the trail. Plus they always lead to new ideas for future concept cars. These days it’s about using the right energy sources as sparingly and cleanly as possible. I admire the Young-Goodwin team for their resource thoughtfulness. Very inspiring.
This really hurts. …
This really hurts. The stupidity this old man is talking with. He is babbling around about things this old guy does not know a bit about.
100 MPG??? How can this stupid guy say this rubbish??? If he runs this Lincoln car on batteries, how can he say that he will only consumes this amount of gas??
I really don’t want is worse: His music of his stupidity.
Very good Neil, now …
Very good Neil, now a very good idea once you have this perfected would be to make a lot of these cars and give DEMONSTRATIONS. Take them around to state fairs, county fairs, Farm Aid, rock festivals and anything else you can think of, and let people take them for a spin. “You can drive in my car and see how it goes!”
The keyword: …
The keyword: Efficiency. That is the key!!!!
This is the new …
This is the new paradigm for future energy considerations, & personal transportation means
0:07 – 0:24 = great …
0:07 – 0:24 = great motivation! The other motives are cool but of less significance to me. I could care less about the “Big” thing eccept where it is for practical purposes. ~cg5
Linkvolt, be the …
Linkvolt, be the change… Theres a bailout coming but its not for me!
Peace.
‘Big old Rock Star, …
‘Big old Rock Star, talking about Big
old Cars’…Thank you Lincvolt team for helping with the ‘Change’ in the Big Old Automobile industry!
