Mega props to (the … Mega props to (the sadly underrated) Jerry Peters, one of the greatest ever arranger/producers from the 1970s, who did a phenomenal job on both this, and the band’s debut set ‘Stormin’ recorded in 1976. Belitia Woods ethereal-like lead vocal takes this track to stratospheric heights. We really were blessed with some great, awe-inspiring music between the period 1968-1984; just glad I was old enough to have captured a substantial part of it.

I am so glad that i … I am so glad that i never gave up my 26 year search for this amazing piece of artistry. Never knew the name of the group, tried to remember the lyrics as best i could, often wondered whether it was a gospel song, after hearing it just once on the radio (probably a jazz funk pirate radio station booming out of Essex or Kent). This song is timeless and I am glad to know there are others out there who have never and will never let go of it! Peace to you all. X

I grew up in … I grew up in Detroit. I use to listen to this song, with my fellow band mates. I believe we even played it. This song is so bad-ass. I’m suprised they didn’t win more notoriety, with this song. I never forgot this song, but I couldn’t remember the name of the group. Thank you for posting. My 30 year search is over.
