I am amateur when it comes to writing. I’ve never really written a story, but, I’ve came up with idea’s plenty of times. I’m currently planing on writing a story that continues/expands into more. I’m not quite sure exactly what to write about yet, so I’m wondering if any of you guys have any brainstorming tips?

I’ve also figured I’d make a list of ten things to go wrong with my character. Would it hurt to add more than ten ?

The most important thing to do, is get all your ideas down – brainstorm, list, whatever – then make a plan. Revise it, make sure it’s realistic, leave it for a week or two, then revise it again. When you’re happy, start to write and do not alter your plan half-way through. The most important thing, though, is to plan everything. Otherwise plots start to wonder off, characters get their habits forgotten a chapter into the book or the whole thing becomes completely unrealistic. As for getting ideas down, I would start with the very basic things, ie. number of main characters ect.

Just because I’m not a big fan of Ben 10: Alien Force, that doesn’t mean that I don’t like it, and the prove is my favorite Alien Force Characters.- Brainstorm and Goop. I also like Spidermonkey, but not as much as brainstorm and Goop. This is my 52th submission for Youtube, and my official first video totally for Ben 10: Alien Force. The AMV is dedicated specially for these three aliens, personally I said this one is not one of my best works, but I think everyone would like it. I must add that this AMV was based on a video that I watch, It was a Street Fighter III: Third Strike Combo video, exactly, the KYSG collection, Volume 1 – Q and Twelve combos. I’m sure I really adapt the song with Brainstorm, Goop and Spidermonkey and the KYSG video. It also have the original voice of each alien, specially from Brainstorm. Enjoy!
