I’ve heard rumblings and rumors of Fantasia Parties before, sometimes called “Romance Parties,” or simply put “Adult Sex Toy Parties,” but until best girlfriend told me she was going to get married, I didn’t think much about it. So, when she told me the big news, I knew I would want to give her the best stagette/bachelorette party ever! Little did I know then, how I would actually pull it off.

The problem with this was – I’ve never been much into male strippers, or typical stagette party stuff. The thought of some dude dangling his softy in my best “bride-to-be” girlfriends face, seemed a bit off. She’s a pretty adventurous girl, and we’ve been caught in a few sticky situations together for sure, but the typical bachelorette routine wasn’t’ going to cut it. That’s when I recalled a term I had heard a year before, and started to investigate.

“Fantasia Parties,” I thought to myself as I sat in my kitchen trying to brainstorm ideas, sounds like a bunch of 5 year-olds all having a sleepover with Disney Movies, chocolate chip cookies and milk. So, I decided to go check out what this was really all about, and if it was even something I could afford. The first website that came up was cheap and tacky looking… next one was super amateurish… but the next one spoke my language, so I read on. The term “Fantasia Party” seems to have been coined up in Canada, and in the bigger Canadian cities like Ontario, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and across the country, these events are a regular thing, and there’s nothing PG or Disney about them!

So here’s what I planned for my best girlfriends last night of debauchery – A guided tour of the most intriguing and “forbidden” adult sex toys, hosted by a professional Fantasia Party Hostess, in the comfort and privacy of my own home, who also would serve as our one stop shopping after the presentation. Working with the hostess beforehand, we came up with a theme evening “game night.” One of the games was – anyone caught crossing their legs during the presentation has to drink! Believe me, when some of the toys came out, about half of us had to drink! Also, I arranged with my other guests to pay for all of the bride-to-be’s purchases (budget of $250) as a gift from all of us.

Usually, but not always, they are a girls only event, but you can make it whatever you want – like my stagette game night. Anyway, enough of the sales pitch! I’m telling you all this because we had so much fun. It was just right to put us all in the mood to go out afterwards for my girlfriends last night out as an unmarried sex kitten. The funniest part of the whole experience was how uneducated we all were about these products! Now that I’ve seen, touched, and tasted so many new things, I can’t wait to host my next one, and see what crazy new and different stuff shows up.

So, now she is happily married. It’s been almost six months, and everything seems great with her. The other day her new husband (who I’ve know for three years now) came up to me and thanked me for hosting that Fantasia Party Stagette. “Oh, your welcome,” I said, “but please don’t tell me anything more… I don’t want to know any details!” We laughed. The truth is – I already know everything from her. She was so excited about some of the adult toys, lotions, and lingerie she took home – she just had to tell me! Ugh! Too much information…

Anyway – Fantasia Home Parties are a great idea for an event like the one I just told you about, or just as a fun girls-night-in, no occasion necessary. Your guests will thank you for sending them home with no many less unanswered questions, and a brown bag full of bedroom fun!

Those in the creative fields usually resort to various types of media whether films, music, etc. Interested in the interconnections between existing art & artforms as the source of generating new forms

I don’t listen to or watch anything specifically to brainstorm for ideas. I usually just sit on my bed or at my desk and simply think, let my mind wander and see what I come up with.

I do find, though, that I can sometimes come up with ideas while listening to classical music, specifically Beethoven or Tchaikovsky, or the piano works of Scriabin and Debussy. I’m a musician so I use music to express my feelings and emotions — in the same way, music can bring out feelings that I wasn’t aware of previously.

How do you build priceless business relationships through networking?  This is an important question to consider because, to a large degree, who you know and associate with determines who you become in life. The most successful, well-rounded and happy people are most often the ones who are best connected to other successful, well-rounded and happy people.  When these people need support or information, they know the right people to call.  
 

 

It helps to think of networking as a creative process. You are creating ways to serve and to help people progress.  You progress when you help others progress.  Progress is what it is all about.  To crack the networking code, to build priceless business relationships and become a truly effective networker, you need to constantly search out ways to help others progress.  You must position yourself in their minds as a catalyst in their progress, as an agent in their progress, as a Progress Agent .  
 
A nurturing, giving attitude is the cornerstone to Cracking the Networking CODE.  The four letters that make up the word CODE stand for the four steps consistently taken by the most effective networkers to build truly priceless business relationships.  Effective networkers:
 
C:  Create Personal Curb Appeal   Effective networkers feel successful and display a genuine desire to help others progress.  They’re Progress Agents. They look and act the part of someone you would want to have in your corner.  They don’t go to networking events looking for success, they take success with them.

D:  Deliver Solid First Impressions  Effective networkers know their first impression sets the foundation for all future impressions, and they make sure it’s a good one.  Effective networkers strive to stand out in a positive way in the minds of people they want future contact with.

E:  Earn Trust  
Effective networkers follow up and keep in touch.  They stay involved with the people they meet and earn their trust through a series of progress-based impressions.  They continually find ways to ‘be progress’ for those in their network.  This is where most ineffective networkers drop the ball.

Sure, being in business is challenging.  Sure, people are often pressed for time. 
But here is something else I know for sure: People do business with, as well as help, share information, brainstorm, and give referrals to people they trust and value.  They trust and value people who genuinely care about them and are Progress Agents for their lives.

Crack the Networking CODE.  Be Progress.

I use play doh and candy, any other ideas on how to get creative ideas from a marketing team?

I’ve had good luck with a tennis ball. The rules: I throw the ball to someone – they have 15 seconds to blurt out an idea, no matter how silly. Then they throw the ball to someone else, and it keeps going. Better to always have to thow the ball way across the table, and to someone who hasn’t caught the ball yet. Once in a while I’ll grab the ball to give everybody a brief break, maybe change the rules a bit (like let’s all work off of this one idea) and we keep going until it’s time to make and throw paper airplanes. The rule on that is put your idea on the airplane and launch it. Whoever catches is has to come up with an idea based on the idea on the plane.

The birth of a baby is the most special moment in a mother’s life, and she would like to celebrate this coming of this event with close friends and family. The invitations to this event are instrumental in setting the mood and making it a memorable event and therefore care should be taken while making the invitation.

Baby showers usually take place a month or two before the birth of the baby and giving the right invitation is one of the many challenges of the planning process.

You can always get ready-made cards from card companies but it would be much more special if you choose a design and then custom make it. As the host will most probably be a very close friend of the mother, she can consult the mother and other family members on what would be a suitable theme for the party.

Once all the ideas are gathered and the theme is finally selected, the host should have a reasonably clear idea on the kind of invitation that will be required and how it will look.

If it’s a girl, a star that highlights the future could be the theme. There can be invitations in star shapes with a nursery rhyme inside.

If it’s a boy, the cowboy can be a suitable theme. The invitation can have a cartoon character on the top with other details on the inside.

The season can also decide the kind of invitation made. For example, in summer, a possible theme can be a summer shower with loads of ice cream and so the invitation can be an ice cream cut out.

Like any standard invitation, the baby shower invitation should include details like the invitee’s name, date, time and venue of the event, the host’s contact number, and, if known, the gender of the baby.

Invitations should be sent out at least a month in advance. This will give enough time for the guests to pick out suitable gifts and make other appropriate plans for the special day.

Babies smell good, are cute, and are quiet and noisy, all at the same time. These are just a few qualities of a growing baby. The invitation can also include a preview of what might come during the shower itself. All it takes is good planning and a good imagination to make the baby shower an event that steals the show compared to other events.

The host can either plan the invitation alone or can brainstorm with others in picking the correct invitation before going to the printers. Once this job is done, other aspects easily follow suite, like food planning, gift registry and prizes to be won during the games.

In case help is needed, there is even the option of calling a professional to assist. Along with the number of invitations and themes that have been previously done, these usually come in packages that include a planner who will guide the person in charge. These people are easily found in your own neighborhood or you can even check online. Comparison of the prices and packages offered by different companies can get you value for money for your baby shower.

Okay so I’ve got a few paragraphs down, but I need some more ideas. What are some advantages and disadvantages on having an all powerful King? We’re talking about middle ages, here.
Well aren’t you two assholes helpful.

An all powerful king prevents civil war, there’s no other leaders to go up against
Also the kingdom is probably more united..
Disadvantages are the kingdom is run under only one persons point of view, may not be what’s best for the people.
Or there’s a fine line between monarchy and dictatorship sometimes all powerful kings cross it…
